PORTUGAL - SPORT ONSIGHT SPORT - MONTEJUNTO

POSITION: Two cliffs that are about 500 metres apart; a north facing sector and a west facing sector. Both are situated at the top of a mountain. About an hours drive north of Lisbon.

North sector - Opposite. This small cliff offers some very good routes that are full on from the time you leave the ground. Most have good holds, but they sap your strength a bit too quickly for most average climbers. Good quality, but not that much of it - fabulous views and cool in summer.

West sector is larger but has a bird restriction 1-1 until 31-7. A good array of technical routes up to 20 metres, with a lot of fine climbing in the 6c-7a category.

Both areas are very close to the parking and you will find it very quiet here - apart from hot sundays in summer.
