POSITION: Just to the west of Cascais on the coast, and very near to the Boca do Inferno - a popular attratction. Easy to park on the road above the rocky beach platform - except on Sundays and busy holiday times; when it is too hot anyway.

80 large limestone blocs with hundreds of assorted problems. All the important problems are included in our guidebook, but there are so many variations on this type of rock, that you can keep yourself entertained for days here.

The situation is superb, the boulders rest on a nearly horizontal rock platform that is just below high tide. Some of the problems never get wet, and others get the full immersion treatment. The rock platform has pocketed holes, so it is essential to have a pad, but in many cases you don't need to have a spotter (in the lower grades).

Early morning or late evening, this is one of the finest spots you are likely to find & is ideal for families with steps down to the platform, and any grade of bouldering.
