OVERVIEW
The most northern section of the book does not have so many cliffs. The Ardennes has the town Monthermé with the volcanic outcrops of Roc La Tour - great views and nice ambience, and the very steep and powerful Coprias just beneath and above the bend on the road. Main cliff of the area is Lerouville, with a nice selectiion of routes (100+) and mostly technical vertical walls. Saint-Mihiel is a pocket limestone powerhouse with plenty for the 7c climber to thrash about. Vertus is big pockets for grade 5-6 climbers, above the champagne vineyards - how can you not have a great day there.
