Bourgogone onsight - Topo Guide REMIGNY A new-ish cliff that has been recently developed (2002). The cliff is on private land and an agreement has been made with the owner so long as that the land may be used for shooting during the winter season. This is from the 1st week in September until the 1st week in March. It seems a very good arrangement that gives some wonderful climbing in the spring and summer - usually when bird bans can be in force. The cliff is made up of 2 walls, an easy angled slab that is covered with lovely pockets, and then a north facing overhanging wall, like at Patones in Spain. A really good little gem of a crag - don't miss it. Summary: 30 routes, in all grades 4-7c; up to 25m high. Photo: LE TEMPS D'UN REVE; Climber: Thomas Gorria. |
